Clear Creek Advanced Half Day Trip

Activity Description

The advanced canyon is not only the most exciting section on Clear Creek, but the most scenic as well! This beautiful Canyon provides an amazing backdrop to very steep and exciting class IV rapids. The rapids come very quickly after the put in and are very continuous from there on. Run great class IV’s like upper and lower Beaver Falls, Guide Ejector, Double Knife, and Hells Corner. In between the heart pumping rapids don’t forget to keep on the lookout for the heard of Big horn sheep that live in the canyon! Hit this trip up in early June for the ride of a lifetime! Liquid decent advanced half day trip is a thrill ride from beginning to end! When you first arrive at Liquid Decent you can sense the laid back atmosphere, everyone is super welcoming and available to answer any question you might have. Once checked in there is a relaxing lounge with games and a tv to watch while you wait. After about a 15 min ride to the drop in point. the action never stops. We went from one rapid to the next, with class I-II rapids being the only slightly slower sections. Joe the guide that I had during my trip was experienced and informative letting us know what to expect at each rapid so we could react accordingly. Clear Creek itself is beautiful, set inside a scenic canyon with steep cliffs on either side. Towards the end of the trip you have the opportunity to get out of the raft and jump into the river and float back down to it. After getting back on the raft there are a few more big rapids that slowly ease off till you get to the pick up spot. Overall it was some of the best rafting I have ever done and would highly recommend this trip if you're looking for an exciting day.
